Tintype workshop with Will Wilson at BIOCOMM 2023
We had over 30 people attend the BIOCOMM 2023 Tintype workshop with our Maria Ikenberg Lindberg keynote speaker Will Wilson, where he demonstrated how to make images with wet collodion on tin. Will made numerous portrait images of participants as well as a group photograph of the incoming BCA Executive team. We also got to go outside to his darkroom tent to learn the particulars of this “old” process which is an art form on its own. Will worked non-stop all afternoon as everyone wanted a portrait.
