Today's "typical" member is not typical at all. With expanding technologies, our job descriptions have expanded dramatically. Many have supervisory or managerial responsibilities, as well as the need to have developed skills in areas such as computer graphics, digital imaging, biophotography, videography, curriculum design, teleconferencing, writing and editing, teaching, and scientific poster production. BCA members share one important thing: they must create effective visual images for their clients. An international association of visual communicators, BCA members represent myriad strengths, knowledge, concerns and resources focused on each communicator's needs.
The Central Office Manager shall determine whether applicants meet the requirements of the membership category for which application has been made. Questionable applications will be referred to the Executive Committee.
