Endowment Fund for Education (EFFE) Scholarships

The BioCommunications Association (BCA) has two annual $500 scholarships available via the Endowed Fund for Education, EFFE.

The EFFE scholarship was created through the generosity of BCA members and friends to support educational opportunities for full-time undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career in scientific/biomedical visual communications.

Qualifications

To be considered for an award, an applicant must be enrolled in an accredited college or technical school program as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year student, or working in the field and returning for graduate study.

Membership in the BCA is not a requirement for receiving an EFFE Scholarship, however members of the Selection Committee, or their relatives, are ineligible.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is April 30th and recipients will be notified by June 1st. Unsuccessful applicants may apply again the following year. Scholarship awards will be paid directly to the institution of higher education which the student will attend.
