BioImages Salon 2008 Call For Entries

This year’s BCA conference, BioImages Salon and awards ceremony will be held in Rochester, New York. July happens to be a splendid time of year to spend in the Finger Lakes Region. Rochester’s impressive history in photography, xerography, and optics coupled with an educational climate at the forefront of technology offers us the perfect setting to be personally and professionally inspired today and IMAGinING the FUTURE.

Alongside the rich educational environment of the BCA conference is the BioImages Salon which enables us to view and appreciate the annual achievements of ourselves and our fellow creatives. If your work has been exhibited at the Salon in years past you remember the exhilarating feeling it is to share your hard work with others and have no doubt already been setting aside your best for this year’s call for entries. If you’re new to the Salon don’t be shy! Whether your forte is Still, Graphic or Motion Media there are many categories under these three divisions for you to enter your favorite pieces.

An exciting addition to this year’s Best of Show Crystal Award will be a monetary award of $350 dollars presented to the creator of the Best of Show piece. There are many ribbons and certificates to be awarded and your work will be exhibited throughout the conference as well as on the BCA web site. So now is the time to pull your best together.
