Ralph Creer Service Award

Charlene Baron was honored for distinguished service to the Association and the ideals to which it aspires, spearheading multiple projects and admirably serving BCA in leadership roles in Chapter, House of Delegates, Board of Governors, and officer roles, including President.
The award in honor of the BCA's founding president, recognizes those who have served the Association and its members with distinction. Charlene Baron was honored for distinguished service to the Association and the ideals to which it aspires, spearheading over multiple years the migration of the BCA BioImages professional exhibition from print format to electronic format, guiding several web site revisions and serving as BCA's primary interface to web site and internet service providers, and admirably serving BCA in leadership roles in Chapter, House of Delegates, Board of Governors, and officer roles, including President. She has participated in an unselfish way, with a joyous spirit and with much hard work. BCA has been well served for many years.

 

Fellowship in BCA

President Susanne Loomis presents a certificate to Karna McKinney who was honored with Fellowship in the BCA for her continuous efforts in promoting the field of biological photography through her workshops and presentations at annual meetings, work as a faculty member in Biological Photography at Bellvue Community College, for her long term commitment to the Pacific Northwest Chapter, and her numerous awards in annual BioImages salons.

We have appreciated his talent, his mentorship, his expertise, his guidance, his inspiration and his pilgrimage in helping us to remember why we love photography. Thank you Bill!!
